Hello,

So it's been awhile, I have done nothing as promised, I am not even sure if it's necessary since I have no idea if anyone even visits since I don't blog anymore or advertise freebies. But I do create out of enjoyment because I really like to make kits. But, I have a break in a month or so, maybe I will go back to making kits or remove everything and do something else creative. But in any case I wanted to give an update in case someone was wondering, I doubt but maybe lol.

So I know I promised some new kits and things but we ended up moving while I was on break and the process has just taken a long time needless to say. I started fall quarter for school a few weeks ago. Taking four classes this quarter one of them is Anatomy and Physiology so I have been really busy learning all my fantastic tissues right now and learning histology. But I really do plan on getting some things up winter break in about 6-7 weeks so please come back!

Hello!

I have some new overlays for ya! These overlays are tagger size. I mentioned in a post the other day that I am strictly creating tagger size scraps. Sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone but I generally hang out in the tagger community being a tagger myself and sometimes it's just easier dealing with small things instead of having to resize all the time-lol. Hi Everyone!

It has been such a long time since I have even attempted to do any scrapkits or tutorials. I have been so busy with school, I didn't realize that it would take up the majority of my time, plus working full time. I have no spare time anymore. I do have a long weekend coming up! I took some days off from work for some ME time so I plan of getting tons of homework out of the way in one day so I can fill up my blog with kits, freebies and tutorials. On another note, I have resigned from both CT's I was working on. I didnt feel that it was fair to hold up the spots if I am not able to contribute and felt that they were better for someone who has the time. So thats it I just wanted to let everyone I have not gone anywhere just really really busy. So keep looking for the updates! Oh this also means I am no longer selling kits in stores they are all FREE!!!! Yippee!!!

Lets Begin!

1. Open image 800x800 transparent-flood fill white. Copy and pase paper 9 as a new layer.

2. Load mask. Merge group.

3. Copy and Paste frame as a new layer-resize 90% add drop shadow of choice.

4. Use magic wand and click inside frame-selections-contract 4. Copy and paste paper 3 as a new layer. Arrange paper how you want. Selections-invert-delete. Select none. Add drop shadow.

5. Open white bow copy and paste as a new layer. Arrange how you want add a drop shadow.

6. Copy and paste black diamond as a new layer over white bow in center resize 80%.

7. Using magic wand click inside frame-copy and paste your tube as a new layer-invert-delete.

8. Duplicate layer-Xero-bad dream with these settings: 200/150/55/0/0/0/0.

9. Click on original tube layer change blend mode to luminance L. Change blend mode on copy to overlay-merge down.

10. On tube layer Gregs Factory Output Vol II-spotlight settings: 178/110/70/150/204/58.

11. Save your tag as a psp image now so you wont lose your work.

12. Copy and paste sheer flower as a new layer. Resize 70% position where you want and add a drop shadow.

13. Copy and paste black bow as a new layer resize 80% position where you want add a drop shadow.

14. Copy and paste white glitter butterfly as a new layer position where you want and add a drop shadow.

15. Add your word art and apply a drop shadow.

16. Add your copyright info for your tube and your name and you’re done!

1. Open new canvas 800x800 background white. Add a new raster layer flood fill w/cc2a41. Load mask merge group . Add drop shadow 0/0/55/8/black.

2. Open template click on large circle copy and paste as a new layer. Do this for each layer of the template.

3. Close template and arrange layers to your liking.

4. Click on circle layer, selections-select all-float-defloat copy and paste a paper of your choice as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete. Delete original layer and add a drop shadow to your new layer. Do this for all of the layers except the heart layer. Make sure to chose a different paper for each layer and add your drop shadow.

5. When you get to the heart layer change the color to black. Add a drop shadow.

6. For the borders of each layer I used the manual color correction and used the color from he kit, a palette is provided in the kit.

7. Resize your image to 700x700.

8. Click on your heart layer. Selections-select all-float-defloat, copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Position where you want. Selections-invert-delete. Effects-plugins-xero-procelain:85/140/128/0/0/0 change opacity to 50.

9. Open bow 4 copy and paste as a new layer add a drop shadow and position where you want.

10. Open flower jewel 1 copy and paste as a new layer, resize to about 30% add a drop shadow and position where you want.

11. Copyand paste your tube as a new layer. Position where you want. Duplicate layer, adjust-blur-gaussian blur:3. Effects-plugins-xero-soft mood: 50/80/80/80/ check lock sliders/2/10 change blend mode to soft light. Add drop shadow.

12. Copy and paste butterfly 2 as a new layer add drop shadow and position where you want.

13. Copy and paste rose 1 as a new layer. Rotate image 25 to the left. Move below tube layer and add a drop shadow.

14. Copy and paste sting as a new layer. Move below bow layer and position on right side. Add drop shadow. Duplicate layer mirror image.

15. Copy and paste flowers as a new layer. Resize 70% and rotate 15 to the left. Move behind tube layer add a drop shadow. Duplicate layer and mirror image and move below heart layer.

16. Add Word art, position where you want. Resize entire image to your liking.

17. Add your copy right information and your name and you’re done!

Well,

I just finished my first week of school and let me tell ya-am I tired!! Boy am I glad I got this blog designed to a way that I can enjoy it for a while because its going to be a while before I can design a new one-lol.I wanted to let you know that my goal is still 1 kit and 2 tutorials a weekend. I am finishing up a kit right now, it's a Valentines one, and then tomorrow I will be writing two tutorials. Well off to get some studying and homework done so I can spend the better part of my day tomorrow making you goodies!

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be MIA for a while. Not long, I am starting school tomorrow-actually in a few hours, but I will not have as much free time to design and do tutorials. I hope and I plan to do at least 1 kit and 2 tutorials each weekend it just depends on what my school work load will be like. Everyone tells me I have my work cut out for me. Trying to balance a full time job, school and raising kids is going to be alot to handle. I do have confidence and the drive to get it done, it will be a bear to get there but I will.

I am so honored and excited from all of the wonderful feedback I have been getting on my kits, tutorials, and templates. I promise that as long as people are enjoying my work I will continue to make it.
I will report back on how my first day after 12 years since highschool goes-lol. Talk to you guys soon!

1. Open new image 800x800px transparent background. Open paper 24 resize 800x800px. Copy and paste as a new layer. Merge down.

2. Open paper 9 resize 800x800px. Copy and paste as a new layer, load mask and merge group.

3. Click on paper 24 layer got to effects-textures-weave:1/4/3/both weave and gap color=632828/fill gaps checked.

4. Go back to your mask layer and add a drop shadow.

5. Copy and paste frame 5 as a new layer.

6. Using your magic wand tool select inside the frame. Copy and paste your close up tube as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete.

7. Duplicate layer, effects-idecay-radical glow:47/11/60/95 and change blend mode to soft light.

8. Copy and paste long rose red as a new layer. Move layer below frame layer and rotate 35 to the left. Add a drop shadow.

9. Copy and paste grey butterfly as a new layer. Bring layer to the top and position top left corner over. Add a drop shadow. Duplicate layer, image-mirror and position bottom right corner of frame.

10. Copy and paste grey rose as a new layer position bottom left corner add a drop shadow.

11. Copy and paste bow as a new layer. Move layer below butterfly and position behind butterfly add a drop shadow.

12. Copy and paste grey curled ribbon as a new layer. Position top right corner of frame rotate 15 to the left. Add a drop shadow.

13. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize to your liking and position on right side moving layer below the bow layer. Duplicate layer go to adjust-blur-guassian blur 3. Effects-photo effects-time machine: 30/1869 uncheck photo edges. Change blend mode to hard light. ♦♦NOTE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME MACHINE YOU CAN USE THE SEPIA TONING UNDER PHOTO EFFECTS AGE 80♦♦

14. Copy and paste love stone as a new layer. Position where you want.

15. Resize image how you like.

2. Copy and paste journal paper as a new layer. Resize 55% add a drop shadow.

3. Copy and paste tube as a new layer. Resize and position in the middle to your liking. Add a drop shadow.

4. Copy and paste cameo pin as a new layer. Resize 60% and move behind tube and position top left corner. Add a drop shadow.

5. Copy and paste berry foil flower as a new layer and position top right corner add a drop shadow.

6. Copy and paste cream fluffy bow as a new layer, bring layer to top. Resize 39% position toward bottom of tag and add a drop shadow.

7. Copy and paste branch as a new layer resize 50% and move behind tube. Add a drop shadow.

8. Copy and paste sparkly butterfly as a new layer. Bring layer to top and position top left corner of bow. Add a drop shadow.

9. Copy and paste cream bow as a new layer. Resize 50% move below tube layer and position right in the center of cameo pin stem. Add a drop shadow.

10. Copy and paste jewels 3 as a new layer. Bring to top and resize 20%. Position right over cream bow in the middle and add a drop shadow.

11. Copy and paste Berry jewel as a new layer and position over the center of the cream fluffy bow and add a drop shadow.

12. Copy and paste oval tag as a new layer. Resize 50% rotate 40 to the right position bottom right corner and add a drop shadow.

13. Copy and paste heart charm as a new layer. Resize 70% move over tag position towards top of knot. Zoom in and using your free selection tool delete the top part of the loop so it looks like the charm is hanging.

14. Resize your image to your liking.

15. Add your copyright information for you tube.

16. Add your name, got to effects-eyecandy 4000-corona-12/14/100/23/0/outside checked. Add drop shadow and your done!

8. Copy and paste flower 3 as a new layer. Move behind tube and resize 70% position to the left. Duplicate layer mirror image. Merge down and add a drop shadow.

9. Open bow 5 copy and paste as a new layer move behind flower layer and resize 65% move to the top of the frame and add a drop shadow.

10. Open glitter 2 copy and paste as a new layer, resize 20% bring layer to top and rotate left 25. Adjust sharpness, sharpen. Adjust-sharpness-high pass sharpen-5/70/hard light. Position top right corner. Duplicate layer twice and position where you want.

11. Add word art and position at the top and add a drop shadow.

12. Add your copyright information for your tube and your name and your done!

5. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize to your liking position to the right. Add a drop shadow.

6. Copy and paste chic fence as a new layer. Resize 60% move behind tube add a drop shadow.

7. Copy and paste treepink as a new layer. Resize 70% move behind tube position on right. Add a drop shadow.

8. Copy and paste bow 4 as a new layer resize 50% move behind tube place at the top of the boutique. Add a drop shadow.

9. Copy and paste bow 8 as a new layer resize 25% rotate 25 to the left and position top left corner of the boutique. Add a drop shadow and duplicate the layer and move to the right side.

10. Copy and paste flower8 as a new layer and resize 70% position bottom left corner and add a drop shadow.

11. Add your copyright information and your name and a drop shadow.

12. Effects constellation, settings-glimmer 46/25/1/0/100/75/45/keep original image random speed 6812. Copy merged image and paste as a new image in animation shop. Go back to PSP effects constellation, where it says random put 1579. Copy merged paste in animation shop after current frame. Repeat steps using 6806 as the random setting.

13. Go to Animation Shop edit-select all-animation-resize 500x500, frame properties 12, animation properties change transparent to opaque. Click on black square and choose background color you want, I chose white.

14. Save and you’re done!

Okay-Lets Begin!

1. Open a new canvas 800x800px transparent image-you can always resize later.

2. Copy and paste paper 4 as a new layer.

3. Load mask-merge group add a drop shadow 1/1/70/6/black.

4. Open stars copy and paste as a new layer. Position top right corner add drop shadow. Duplicate layer. Image mirror, image flip.

5. Open round frame copy and paste as a new layer add drop shadow.

6. Open your tube of choice. Copy and paste as a new layer. Zoom in as far as you can and set the opacity to around 40, using your free hand selection tube set on point to point, go ahead and remove the area of your tube that sit right on top of the bottom part of the frame. See mine for an example. You want to delete this area so it looks as though your tube is standing behind the frame. Change your opacity back to 100.

7. Duplicate your tube layer. Go to effects-xero-improver 40/30/9 change blend mode to soft light merge down and add a drop shadow.

8. Open branch copy and paste as a new layer resize 40%. Move directly behind tube and rotate the image 35 to the left adding a drop shadow.

9. Open brocade butterfly copy and paste as a new layer, resize image 20% and rotate image 35 to the right position the butterfly where you want. I placed mine top left corner above the branch. Add a drop shadow.

10. Copy and paste blossom as a new layer. Resize 50% and position right behind tube, add a drop shadow.

11. Open black bow and copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 45% move to top layer and postion bottom right corner adding a drop shadow.

12. Open flower 3 copy and paste as a new layer resize 30% placing directly on top of black bow. Add a drop shadow.

13. Copy and paste black butterfly as a new layer. Resize 60% move top right corner. Add a drop shadow and duplicate layer. Position to your liking and duplicate layer again positioning butterfly to your liking. See mind for reference.

14. Copy and paste scatter as a new layer resize 80% move behind tube add a drop shadow.

15. Resize your image to your liking.

16. Add your copyright information for your tube and your name.

That’s it, you’re done!

10. Open butterfly 3 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% rotate image 30 to the right. Position top right corner of frame add a drop shadow of choice. I used 2/-2/80/5/black.

11. Open bow 29 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% position bottom right corner add a drop shadow.

12. Open baby breath1, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 60% rotate 30 to the left position behind tube layer left side.

13. Open rose 2 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 60% rotate 30 to the left. Position behind tube layer merge down and add a drop shadow.

14. Resize image-I resized entire image 80%.

15. Add dream a little dream 1 and 2 word art to your tag. Add a drop shadow.

16. Add your copy right info and your name.

Filters- Eyecandy 5 Impact (Eyecandy 4000 will work too.)

Okay-Lets Begin!

1. Open template delete copyright layer and flood fill background with black.

2. Click on circle 1: Selections-select all-float-defloat. Copy and paste paper 77 as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete. Delete original layer and add a drop shadow.

3. Do the same for circle 2

4. Select backing1: Selections-select all-float-defloat. Copy and paste paper 35 as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete. Delete original layer. Add a drop shadow.

5. Click frame1 do the same as before using paper 31. Delete your original layer and add a drop shadow.

6. Do the same for backing2 except use paper 31. Be sure to delete your original layer and add a drop shadow.

7. Do the same for frame2 except use paper 35. Delete your original layer and add a drop shadow.

8. Now, set your foreground to 0e6385 and set your background to 7ccef4. Now click on your background and set it to gradient and pick your foreground/background angel it at 45.

9. Click on the “attitude” selections-select all-float add a new raster layer and flood fill with gradient. Delete original layer.

10. Apply eyecandy bevel settings: bevel width=32, bevel height=40, smoothness=30, roundcorner=0, bevel inside check, darken deep areas=0, shade interior check. Lighting=270/65 white/white. Bevel profile=button.

11. Now make sure all 9 tubes are open (IF REPEATING TUBES YOU CAN ALWAYS CLONE DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE TUBE-JUST AN IDEA ;).

12. Click on your backing 1 layer with your magic wand. Go to selections-modify-contract=5. Now with your clone tool right click on the part of the tube your want to clone. Now go back to your square and left click –your cloned part should fit right where you want it. You might have to play around to get it exactly how you want it to look.

13. Repeat this step for all 8 square ♦♦MAKE SURE YOUR CONTRACT ON ALL SQUARES♦♦

14. On your 9^th tube copy and paste is as a new layer. Resize and position where you want. Mine fit best in the middle-lol.

15. Duplicate your tube layer. Then, adjust-blur-guassian blur=3. Then change your blend mode to soft light. Merge layer down to the original. Add drop shadow.

16. Open element 81 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize and position where you want and add a drop shadow.

17. Open element 15 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize and position where you want add a drop shadow.

18. Do the same with element 75 making sure to add a drop shadow.

19. Merge all layers. Resize to your liking.

20. Add your copyright info for your tubes.

7. Open bow 4 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% rotate 25 to the left. Position top left corner.

8. Open your tube copy and paste as a new layer. Change your opacity to 50% delete any part of your tube that is below the mask bottom frame.

9. Change your opacity back to 100%

10. Duplicate your tube layer, change blend mode on copy layer to screen. Merge both layers add drop shadow same as before.

11. Open camera lens 1 copy and paste as a new layer, position bottom left corner.

12. Open flower 1 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 35% move below lens layer add drop shadow.

13. Open glitter heart 1 copy and paste as a new layer move below tube layer. Position top right corner inside mask frame.

14. Open butterfly pendant copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 60% move top right hand corner. Duplicate layer move to the bottom left corner.

15. Open tag4 copy and paste as a new layer resize 60%. Position where you want it.

16. Open wordart 1 copy and paste as a new layer resize 80% position where you want. Adjust-sharpness-sharpen. Adjust-sharpness-sharpen more.

17. Do the same for wordart 2 and 3.

18. Add your copyright information for your tube. Add your name and place on tag layer.

5. Adjust-sharpness-unsharpen mask

6. Add drop shadow: 4/4/70/5/black

7. Click bg stripes layer. Selections-select all-float-defloat. Open paper 11 from kit, resize 500px. Paste as a new layer-selections-invert-delete-select none. Add a drop shadow: 1/1/80/3/black. Delete original layer.

8. Click on frame layer-selections-select all-float-defloat. Open paper 3 copy and paste as a new layer-selections-invert-delete. Add drop shadow same as before. Delete original layer.

9. Click on lg Christmas tree layer. Selections-select all-float-defloat. Open paper 19 copy and paste as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete. Select none Add drop shadow delete original layer.

10. Click on small Christmas tree layer same as above using paper 5.

11. Click on present layer use your selection tool and select around the left half of the present. Copy and paste paper 18 as new layer-selections-invert-delete. Duplicate layer-image mirror. Move over right half of present (see mine for reference).

12. Merge all layers of the present. Use your magic wand to select the ribbon add a new layer flood fill white. Adjust-add noise same as before-adjust-sharpness-unsharpen mask. Merge layers down.

13. Click on stars layer, selections-select all-float-add new raster layer flood fill white adjust-add noise-same as before. Adjust-sharpness-unsharpen mask. Add drop shadow same as before.

14. Click on “Seasons Greetings” layer, selections-select all-float-add new raster layer flood fill w/fab6c8-select none. Adjust- add noise-same as before. Adjust-sharpness-unsharpen mask. Effects-eyecandy-gradient glow:3/25/100/fat/white. Add drop shadow.

15. Open white tree from kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 60% move behind lg tree layer. Position to the left add a drop shadow same as before.

16. Open silver tree 2 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% move behind small tree add a drop shadow same as before.

17. Open silver corner cluster copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% bring layer to top, position left hand bottom corner. Add drop shadow same as before.

18. Open bird copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 40% rotate image 20 to the right. Position top left corner add drop shadow.

19. Open your tube copy and paste as a new layer. Resize and position to your liking. I put mine off to the right.

20. Duplicate layer, adjust-blur-guassian blur: 2. Effects-xero-porcelain: 40/140/135/255/0/0. Change blend mode on copy layer to soft light. Merge layer down to original. Add a drop shadow.

21. Open pillow copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 20% position to the bottom. Add drop shadow.

22. Open gift copy and paste as new layer. Resize 30% move behind pillow layer. Add drop shadow.

23. Open star copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 20% position to the top. Adjust-sharpness-sharpen. Add drop shadow.

24. Open candle cluster, copy and paste as a new layer move behind tube layer. Resize 30% place bottom right corner. Add drop shadow.

25. Open diamond copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%, duplicate layer. Image-mirror. Merge layer down add drop shadow.

26. Open tinsel copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% move behind bird layer rotate image 25 to the right.

27. Resize all layers 500px add a new raster layer add your copyright information for your tube. Add your name.

10. On square 1 layer effects-illumination-sunburst-color black/brightness 0/h=46/v=50/density=100/brightness=100/circle brightness=0

11. Duplicate effect

12. Add drop shadow of choice

13. Do the same for square 2 except switch the colors so you will have an opposite effect.

14. Add a drop shadow

15. Open element 11 from kit, resize 40% smart size, add as a new layer position to where you want it.

16. Click on square 1 open element 9 copy and paste as a new layer resize 30% smart size position where you want it.

17. Open element 21 copy and paste as a new layer resize 20% smartsize position add drop shadow of choice.

18. Click on dotted line 2 change to color of choice from tube.

19. Click on circle layer-selections-select all-float-defloat copy and paste tube as a new layer. Invert selections-delete. Apply iridescent to tube: 20/45/140/128.

20. Copy and paste tube as a new layer position where you want it add drop shadow of choice. Apply gradient glow: 10/25/100/fat/opacity 100

21. Add “Do Somethin” position where you want on the tag

22. Add your copyright information for your tube

23. Add your name. I also applied gradient glow to my name.

24. Delete the white background layer save as a png.

Tools-

I am using a beautiful kit Sweet Dreams from my friend Baby Cakes Scraps which you can find here. It is a PTU kit you must purchase kit to use.

Mask 174 from Vix you can download here.

You will need the following programs to complete this tutorial, some filters you may be able to find a work around in your editing program.

I used PSP X2 (any version I am sure will work).

Also this tutorial is written for those with a good working knowledge of PSP. I do not into all of the details so a good working knowledge of the tools and where to find them is a plus!

Filters- Xero Here
Font- Greyhound Script

Okay-Lets Begin!

1. Open image 800x800 white background.

2. Add new raster layer flood fill w/b4d6d6

3. Apply mask-merge group

4. Adjust-add noise: uniform/40/mono

5. Adjust-sharpness-unsharpen mask

6. Add drop shadow: v/h=1/70/5/black

7. Open rose frame A. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%-position in center of canvas.

8. Open bead spill. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move layer below frame layer. Position top right corner. Adjust sharpen.

9. Duplicate layer-mirror image-flip. Add drop shadow to both layers.

10. Open bird image copy and paste as a new layer. Bring layer to top position top left hand corner. Rotate image 20 to the right. Add drop shadow: v/h=2/80/5/black.

11. Open dark rose copy and paste as a new layer. Position bottom right hand corner add a drop shadow same as before.

12. Open paper B resize 50%. Crop image to fit inside frame (see mine for reference). Move under bead frame. Add drop shadow same as before.

13. Open your tube. Copy and paste as new layer. Move layer below beads. Duplicate layer. Adjust blur-gaussian blur: 3.

14. Apply Xero Simplicity: 30/emboss/light/50/25. Change layer blend to soft light. Merge layer down add a drop shadow.

15. Open lace frame. Copy and paste as a new layer resize 60% arrange below paper B layer. Add a drop shadow.

16. Open blossom copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 80% add drop shadow position bottom left corner.

17. Open bow copy and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% position bottom right corner move layer below dark rose. Rotate image 30 to the left. Add a drop shadow.

18. Open Crystal butterfly. Copy and paste as a new layer resize image 20% move to top right corner rotate image 30 left. Add drop shadow. Duplicate layer move image left side.

19. Open long bow copy and paste as a new layer. Resize image 50% place top right corner add a drop shadow.

20. Delete your white background layer if you want.

21. Resize image to your liking.

22. Add your copyright info for your tube. Add your name and save image as a png file.

Tutorial on adding brushes in PSP

I decided to do this tutorial on adding brushes to PSP. I am working with PSPX2 but I am pretty sure the method is pretty close to the same for all versions. I had a request for some help and thought this would be easier.

This tutorial is written by me any similarities is purely coincidental.

Here it goes!

First create a folder on your hard drive for your brushes. Name it something that you will remember and is easy to access.

Then just follow these steps-

Ok Let's get this started!!

1. Open new image 700x700 flood fill with white.

2. Add new raster layer flood fill with e768ad.

3. Load mask,merge group and lower opacity to 90%.

4. New raster layer, copy and paste frame 1 as a new layer. Add drop shadow v/h-2, opacity 70, blur 5 black.

5. Use your magic want to select inside the frame. Copy and paste paper 11 as a new layer. Selections-invert-delete.
Selections-smooth: 20, 30, both anti-alias and preserving checked. Select none.

6. Copy and paste as a new layer snowflake 8. Position top left corner add drop shadow of choice.

7. Copy and paste as a new layer your tube of choice position it to where you want it.

8. Duplicate your tube layer. Effects-plugins-xero-alienmist. Settings from top to bottom: 128, 200, 255, 255, 255.
Change blend to hard light. Merge down to your original tube layer. Add drop shadow of choice.

9. Open flower 5 copy and paste as a new layer. Resize to 80% (smartsize). Position bottom right hand corner. Add drop shadow of choice.

10. Open hanging heart 3 copy and paste as a new layer. Move down behind tube layer. Position left hand side.
Add drop shadow of choice.

11. Copy and paste flower 2 as a new layer. Resize to 60%. Move behind snowflake. Add drop shadow of choice.

12. Copy and paste ribbon 9 as a new layer. Resize to 80%. Move layer behind tube.

13. Copy and paste as a new layer beaded heart 6. Resize to 70% position behind flower 5. Add drop shadow of choice.

14. Copy and paste as a new layer Santa word art position where you want. This already has a drop shadow but you can add one if you want.

15. Add your name-I used eyecandys gradient glow and added a drop shadow. Add your copyright info for your tube. Delete your white background layer.
Resize to your liking and save as a PNG.

That's it your DONE!!

What’s Your Fantasy?

Tools-
Tube of choice. My tube is the FANTASTIC work of Ismael Rac. It’s a PTU tube you can purchase tube and license here.

Ok let’s begin!

1.    Open template: duplicate close original. Delete copyright layer and hide or delete the white background.
Flood fill background 2 with your choice of color I used d47c54.

2.    Apply mask; merge group; apply drop shadow I used v/h- 2, opacity-70, blur-5 black.

3.    Click on rectangle layer-selections-select all- float flood fill with color of choice I used ded8c0.
Effects-texture-blinds w-3, opacity-10 color black, check the light from left/top. Selections-select none delete original layer.

4.    Open tube of choice I am using a close up of my tube if you do not have one that is fine.

5.    Select circle layer use magic wand to select the outer circle (you may have to zoom in for this).
Flood fill with color of choice I used 24231e. Effects-plugins-eyecandy –gradient glow. Settings: glow-5, corners-25, opacity-100, color 24231e.
Add drop shadow of your choice I used the same settings as before.

6.    Click back on the circle layer select the inner gray part with your magic wand paste your tube as a new layer.
Position tube where you want it, selections-invert-delete-select none.

7.    Layer duplicate. On the copy layer adjust-blur-gaussian blur-3.
Effects-plugins-xero-porcelain. Settings from top: 50,128,128,0,0,255.
Change blend mode on layer to soft light.
8.    Original tube layer change blend mode to luminance L.

9.    Click on frame layer-color changer-target color 28261e, source-c0c0c0.
Note: to access your color changer go to view-customize-unused commands-select manual color corrector from the list and drag it to your tool bar.

10.    Click on wordart layer add your tube of choice as a new layer. Position where you want.
Duplicate the layer-image-mirror-merge down layer duplicate. Adjust-blur-gaussian blur-3.
Effects-porcelain same settings as before. Blend mode to soft light.

11.    Click back on the word art layer go to color changer same as before except change source to white.
Effects eyecandy-gradient glow. Same settings as before except change the glow width to 3 and color to ded8c0.
Add drop shadow of choice I used the same settings as before.

12.    Click on nameplate layer add a new raster layer. Add your name font of choice-apply gradient glow.

13.    Click on copy tube layer merge down to the original layer. Add drop shadow of choice.

14.    Add your copyright information. Add your tube copy right information. Resize and crop to your liking.
Save as a PNG file if you removed the white background.

Lady of the Night Tag Tutorial

Open new image 700x700 flood fill with #000000. Minimize for now.

Open the template and duplicate it and close the original.

Delete both the copyright and the background layers.

select the rectangle1 layer:selections=select all=float=defloat

select a paper from the kit (I am using paper1).

Copy=paste as a new layer

Selections=invert=delete=select none.

Now delete the original rectangle.

Now click on the rectangle2 layer=same as above just use a different paper (I am using paper4).

Now Click on rectangle 3 layer=same as above use a different paper (I am using paper3).

At this time you should save your tag in progress (make sure to save as a pspimage to keep the layers seperate).

Now add a drop shadow to each rectangle layer. I used V/H=1 Opacity set to 70 and blur set to 8 color #000000.

Select the thin rectangle 1 layer: select all=float=defloat

Select another paper from the kit (I am using paper7)

copy and paste as a new layer

selections=invert=delete=select none

Delete original layer

Do this for the thin layer 2 using the same paper.

Save your progress.

Now go back and restore your 700x700 image

Add a new raster layer

Flood fill with a color that will compliment the tag I chose #532b38.

Now with the new raster layer selected add your mask.

Merge group (from your layers palette).

Now go back to your template we are going to use some plugins.

Click on the thin rectangle layer1 and select Filters Unlimited 2.0

Then select special effects 1=blur darkness=intensity 128.

do this for both thin layers.

Now select the large rectangle layer

We are going to use filter xero=porcelain=50,128,128,0,0,255

Save your progress.

Now we are going to copy our template and paste it onto our canvas.

First resize your canvas to 500x500.

We are going to copy each individual layer and paste as a new layer.

Keep the template open so you can make sure everything is where it should be.

Now we are going to add our elements to the tag.

Open the elements and place them where you want them. Save frequently so you don't lose your work.

Now open, copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add a drop shadow I used the same as I did before.

Now delete the black background layer.

Resize if you want to.

Add your copyright info and your name and you're done!!

So, this is my first time starting a blog and right now I am so overwhelmed I am not sure on what to do. My plans are to be able to use it for posting digital scrapkits and anything that has to do with graphic and web designing but we'll see. First I have to learn how to work this thing..........lol.
